April felt like it was over before it even started.

The crypto timeline was anything but quiet. DeFi exploits hit record monthly highs with roughly $625M–$651M stolen, AI continued dominating every conversation online, and global attention remained fixed on the next era of space exploration with NASA’s Artemis mission developments.

April was certainly not for the weak.

On Monday Trade, we launched tokenized stocks (RWAs) to everyone, added 30+ new trading pairs, rolled out new RWA campaigns for traders, introduced our ambassador program, and connected with the community at events in Korea.

RWAs Launch Into Hyperspace: Now Open to Everyone

April marked the launch of Real-World Assets (RWAs) landing on Monday Trade.

What started with teasers, waitlists, and early beta access has now opened to everyone. Trade tokenized stocks with 24/5 trading, and a simpler experience without the usual CEX friction and KYC barriers.

RWA Campaign Highlights

Last month, we focused on strengthening our RWA narrative across content, campaigns, and product education. The goal remained the same: making RWAs easier to understand and easier to access for all traders.

Perp Transition in Motion

Onto more critical announcements, last month we announced we’re entering the next phase of Monday Trade and DeFi on Monad.

Perp markets on Monday Trade are temporarily winding down as part of a controlled transition towards RWA-focused products.

We highly encourage you to close out your perp positions.

Key dates to make note of:

• 4th of May: Perp trading points will be redirected to RWA and Spot trading during the perp wind-down period.
• 8th of May: All perp positions are fully closed

RWA Live Event in Seoul

Last month, we brought the conversation to Seoul, Korea through a live event focused on onchain investing, tokenization, and the future of accessible global markets.

The RWA Live event introduced the world of tokenized assets to over 80+ attendees, collaborating with Monad and Anchored for a series of discussions, panels, raffles and live trading demos.
